The notion that I have the power to take someone who may be self conscious or unwilling to smile in public and totally transform the way they perceive themselves is just wild to me. It’s like giving a person their life back. To witness that kind of metamorphosis in a patient within my care is everything and to claim a small part of that reinvention is humbling beyond words.

This is what originally got me excited about dentistry! Someone comes in with a problem - maybe they’re worried, scared, embarrassed or in pain - and I can fix it! What the dental house is all about, is creating a safe environment where people can come and instead of feeling judged or criticized, they can leave empowered and inspired to make their oral health a priority.

With today’s fast paced, high stress lifestyles we’re seeing so many patients now with signs & symptoms of progressive wear - from shorter teeth to jaw, neck and back pain, sleep issues and increased sensitivity. However instead of letting things get worse, I love having the ability to restore a patients function and aesthetics in a number of conservative ways!
